How to choose
Pick Xcaret for the broadest single day: underground rivers, wildlife, Maya ruins, beach and the México Espectacular show. It is the one to do if you do only one. Pick Xplor for the adrenaline: 14 zip lines, amphibious vehicles through jungle and caves, raft paddling and swims in underground rivers, with the buffet included and back by early evening. Reviewers’ top tip: bring water shoes and a waterproof phone pouch. Pick Xel-Ha for a slower, food-included day of tubing down a lazy river and snorkelling where the river meets the sea, 45 minutes south of Xcaret.
Can you do two?
Not on the same day - each is a full day, and Xcaret only really pays off if you stay for the evening show. On a week-long stay, Xcaret plus one of the others on separate days works well, and Grupo Xcaret sells multi-park combos on its own site.
