- Xcaret Park is an eco-archaeological theme park run by Mexican-owned Grupo Xcaret, on
  Highway 307 (Chetumal-Puerto Juarez) km 282, about 10 minutes south of Playa del Carmen and
  about 75 km (1 to 1.5 hours) south of Cancun. Founded by architect Miguel Quintana Pali with
  partners; opened December 1990 on the site of the Maya port of Pole.
- Open daily from 8:30 AM; the evening show Xcaret Mexico Espectacular (300+ performers) ends
  the day, with the park closing around 10 PM.
- 2026 official online prices (adult, approx.): Basic ~$150, Plus ~$180 (adds buffet lunch with
  soft drinks and one beer, Plus-area lockers, snorkel gear), Xcaret at Night (from 4 PM) ~$110.
  About 10% off when booked 7+ days ahead. Children 5-11 pay ~75%; under-5s free. Round-trip
